    Riverside LGBTQ+ Pride is a % volunteer-powered (c)(3) aid bringing visibility to our LGBTQ+ family in Riverside and surrounding Inland Empire areas.

    THANK YOU so much to all of you who showed up to our festival despite the blistering heat! The heat didn't keep us down and we showed Parade 🏳️‍🌈 With hope, delight, community, love, power, and resistance, TOGETHER, we are indeed unlimited. BIG appreciate you to every one of you who helped in any way to make this festival happen.

    Special shoutouts to all of our volunteers, who sweated throughout the day, from 6 AM setup to those who stayed till 1 AM to pack up and clean up ❤️ We truly can't do what we perform with you, since we are % volunteer-powered.

    Note: Traveling as an LGBTQ+ person always carries a certain degree of risk. It is our reality as we navigate a earth with 60+ countries criminalizing our relationships and a rise in anti-LGBTQ+ legislation around the world. We encourage our traveling group to understand the laws and cultural challenges they may face in any destination they choose to see for Pride and beyond. Don't be afraid of the world, but always research information specific to your travels. Enjoy Pride, be vigilant, and look out for each other!

    The LGBTQ+ rights movement has made tremendous strides over the past scant decades and much of the progress in noticeability is thanks in part to gay pride parades and marches that own taken place in cities around the world.

    The global landscape for LGBTQ+ rights, protections and acceptance varies tremendously by location, with some destinations attracting millions of visitors to their events like Madrid Lgbtq+ Pride, Sao Paulo Queer Pride or San Francisco Gay Pride, while more than 70 other countries have laws that enable discrimination or persecution of LGBTQ+ people.
