Everyone should be able to explore their curiosities in a pleasurable and positive way, and it&#;s important to perceive that you can seek new things without subscribing to any fixed labels. These tips are for cis men who hope to try sex with other cis men, in a safe and respectful manner.

1. Be honest from the get-go that you&#;re curious
Whether you want to hook up with someone you&#;re already acquainted with (usually a gym bro, according to most porn), or you&#;ve been involved in a charged emoji swap on Grindr, honesty is fundamental from the beginning. Many queer people are feeling and caring partners

Long before the days of Grindr and the internet, the gay scene was largely underground. Gay and bi men had to find creative ways to connect in discreet, yet relatively safe spaces.
For many, the locals baths &#; or bathhouses- were a sanctuary where you could be yourself and meet other guys who were interested in both sexual and friendly connection.
Meanwhile, cruising spots were recognizable public spaces where men met for casual encounters.
Yet for decades, the baths were routinely raided and became a battleground for the fight for gender non-conforming rights and the male lover liberation movement.

Secret Signals: How Some Men Cruise for Sex
Aug. 28, &#; -- While many Americans may only be vaguely familiar with the idea of "cruising," there is a secret society of sex between men that exists in common places across the country.
The police officer who arrested Sen. Larry Craig, R-Idaho, in a men's restroom at the Minneapolis airport for allegedly looking to engage in gay sex wrote in his June report that he "recognized a signal used by persons wishing to occupy in lewd conduct."
Craig tapped his foot up and down and swiped his hand underneath the bathroom stall in which the undercover cop was sitting, according to the police report.
Those actions led to Craig's arrest by Detective Dave Karsnia and the senator's guilty plea to a disorderly conduct ask for. Craig told reporters today that he did nothing inappropriate and said his guilty plea was a mistake.
Public places like men's restrooms, in airports and train stations, truck stops, university libraries and parks, have long been places where gay and pansexual men, particularly those in the closet, congregate in order to meet for anonymous sex.
